OXO thermal pool cover

OXO pairs two complementary bubbles in one shape and keeps the thickness even across the whole sheet. Its flat contact area sits well on the water, so the blanket stays where it should and keeps working while the pool is covered. There are three thicknesses to choose from; it is made to your pool's measurements and charged per square metre.

Built to lie flat and stay put

Most bubble blankets use a single round bubble. OXO joins two bubbles that work together, giving a more uniform and resistant structure that copes with constant contact with water and sun, and with being covered and uncovered day after day.

The flat face that touches the water helps the cover float steadily and spread properly across the surface. It suits outdoor, residential and heated pools, and the 400 micron version stays easy to handle.

Warmer water, smaller losses

The bubbles use the sun to lift the water temperature and form an insulating air chamber that limits heat loss when the pool is not in use. The manufacturer puts the gain at 3 to 5 °C.

Covering the surface also cuts evaporation by up to 98% and keeps out leaves, dust and everyday dirt. You lose less water, add less fresh water that then needs adjusting, and routine maintenance becomes easier.

Pick the thickness

The 400 micron blue is the balanced, easy to handle entry option. At 500 microns you can choose blue, for a thicker and more durable blanket, or transparent blue, which favours solar gain and natural warming of the water. The 700 micron blue is the most robust OXO, for owners who put durability first without giving up good solar performance.

Finishing options include perimeter reinforcement, reinforced edges, hemming and cut-outs, so the blanket can follow steps and irregular pool shapes. For daily use it pairs well with a cover reel.

How we size and fit it

Before anything is ordered, we visit your pool together with our installation partner and measure it. The price shown is a guide based on the square metre rate and is confirmed after that visit; 3 cm per side is added for the fixings, and the finished size can vary by up to 3 cm because the material has some give.

Your blanket is made to that size and our partner fits it. The visit is photographed and recorded in VisitPro with the date and time, so owners who are away can see it from home. We work across Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja, Villamartín, Ciudad Quesada and San Miguel de Salinas.

Measured and fitted on record
